A new rug!

Happy Tuesday! I wanted to show you my new rug I purchased for my dining area. This geometric rug isn't something that I would normally purchase, but I'm so glad I did. I think it added the need character to the room.

I got a new dining table a few weeks ago. You can read about it here!

Look at those LEGS!! Aren't they gorgeous?

Easter around my home!

Now that St. Patty's Day is behind us, its time to bring out the spring decorations. Adding bunnies and white tulips does just that for me! I love decorating with nice neutral clean colors. I throw pastels into the mix occasionally. This #homegoods decor makes me really aware that Springtime and Easter is upon us! I serve a Risen Saviour! That's my FAV part!

This delicious bundt cake makes my tablescape much more welcoming. Grab a seat, cut a slice and fix yourself a cup of coffee. Let's chat! I could sit for hours and enjoy the soft breeze blowing and the soft chirps of the birds.

St. Patrick's Day

I'm gearing up today for my first annual #stpatricksday dinner. I threw together this cute festive tablescape to add some fun into dinner. I used fresh white tulips to bring in the colors. I used my#tommybahama dinnerware from #potterybarn

I'm cooking for the first time corn beef and cabbage. I'm also going to make an Irish Creme Cake for dessert.

DIY Pots of Gold

This past year my I found that I have a trace of Irish blood in me! I'm 38 years old and never knew! So, this year, I decided to have my first annual St. Patrick's Day Dinner with my family!

I'm cooking for the first time corn beef and cabbage. I'm also going to make an Irish Creme Cake for dessert.

I browsed Pinterest for a cute ideas on tablescapes.

I decided to make my own "pots of gold"

I purchased these terra cotta pots from the Dollar Tree for $1. Set of three for a $1. Do you hear me? How great is that?

I used mod podge as adhesive to hold the glitter in place.

This is the finished product. Their going to look displayed on my table for dinner!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

DIY Flower Pots

Hey y'all. I have a fun simple DIY project that is fast and easy!

I went to the Dollar Tree and picked up a set of two clay pots for $1

I used craft paint to paint them. I used a Creme & Yellow. Mixed it until I got my desired color!

You can use any color you would like.

I purchased an indoor plant from Home Depot and potted it into the flower pot. I then took a small candle and added it to the other pot.

You can use your imagination here and put just about anything in them.

I paired them with a nice lantern and birds nest with eggs.

Happy Easter!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
